Rob Souriall

VP, Global Partnership Marketing, Disney Music Group

Souriall started his career at The Walt Disney Company in 1998, and reached his 20th anniversary last fall. Most recently, he leads a team of six managing all corporate brand partnerships across DMG’s artist division (Hollywood Records), soundtrack division (Walt Disney Records), catalog initiatives, and Disney Concerts. Souriall often jokingly refers to his role/skill set as a “Music Marketing Matchmaker & Marriage Counselor” — identifying the match between “Brand X” and “Music Property Y,” finding the BIG organic idea that brings them together, holding both partners’ hands to remind them why they fell in love in the first place, and finding a compromise to get the deal across the finish line. In the past year alone, (2018), Souriall’s Partnership Marketing team has developed deals with Citizen Watches, FCA/Jeep, Office Depot, American Eagle Outfitters, Aloft Hotels, Bulova Watches, H20+ Beauty, Kimberly Clark, Kleenex, Yamaha, Philips HUE, Golden Road Brewery, Be Glammed, GoVino, Apple Music, ESPN, Freeform, and St. Ives.

Over the past 20 years at DMG, Souriall has been part of the team that generated success for Hilary Duff, Jesse McCartney, Miley Cyrus, High School Musical, Jonas Bothers, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Sabrina Carpenter, Breaking Benjamin, Queen, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, Moana, Coco, Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Wars, Descendants, DCappella, and numerous Disney Cine-Concert events across the globe — including most recently Beauty and the Beast LIVE at the Hollywood Bowl.

Rob enjoys music, creativity, big ideas, mentoring the next generation to find and follow their passion, and spending time with his 3 sons (two of which also work professionally in the music business, and the third is in film school).
