Lauren Danzinger

CMO, Industry City

Lauren Danziger is the Chief Marketing Officer of Industry City, a six-million square-foot creative campus redevelopment on the Brooklyn waterfront. In her role, Lauren leads the overall marketing strategy for the property, building brand awareness and driving leasing activity.

A lifelong New Yorker, she has spent much of her career working on transformative place-making initiatives, serving as the founding Executive Director of both the Meatpacking District Improvement Association (MPIA) and the Meatpacking Business Improvement District (BID) as well as acting as the President of Chelsea Improvement Company. Her contributions to the Chelsea/Meatpacking District have shifted perception of the areas, building a neighborhood brand identity that is recognized worldwide.

Lauren holds a B.S. in Public Policy Analysis from Cornell University and a Culinary Arts Degree from the Institute of Culinary Education. Amidst the 2008 market crash she pivoted her career to start a gluten-free baking and catering company, her boldest rebranding project to date.
