Co-founder + Creative Director
From mixing and matching her outfits at the age of 2 to mixing and matching her bedding in her first dorm room, Amanda has always had a passion for creativity.
But when Amanda and her mother Karen Zuckerman were shopping for Amanda's freshman dorm room they had trouble finding dorm decor as stylish and sophisticated as Amanda desired, a problem her peers were running into as well. From here, the mother-daughter duo created a vision for Dormify, which has since developed into the reputable commerce and content brand it is today.
Amanda graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2013, where she continued to mix and match her majors in Communication Design and Marketing. Four years later, she is the co-founder and creative director of Dormify, where she produces thoughtful experiences across the brand’s different touch points - from product design to web to photography to acquisition and brand extensions. Amanda makes every customer feel like family and loves engaging with and growing with her audience.
When she's not dormifying the world, Amanda is either exploring the latest health and wellness trend or making avocado toast in her NYC apartment.
