Sr. Director, Content & Platform Strategy
Tom De Napoli is the Sr. Director, Content & Platform Strategy at Viacom Velocity, an in-house branded content studio within Viacom's Marketing & Partner Solutions division. He works across Viacom’s networks such as MTV, Comedy Central, Spike (soon to be Paramount Network), VH1, CMT, TV Land and Logo. Tom oversees Velocity’s Social Talent Casting & Management team, which activates top creators such as Liza Koshy, Jake Roper and Gabe & Jess Conte for branded content campaigns. He also heads up the Social Branded Content Partnerships team which develops partnerships between Velocity and highly relevant creators like Shonduras, socially native studios like Indigenous Media and emerging technology companies. Prior to that, he was an award winning director and producer of music videos, commercials and digital series including the groundbreaking interactive video for Das Racist’s “Who’s That? Brooown!”, which launched on YouTube and became the first music video to be named an Official Selection at the Sundance Film Festival Short Film Competition. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and a LEAD diploma in Corporate Innovation from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
