Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Communications,
Nicole Lauchaire is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Communications at Varsity Spirit, the worldwide leader in cheerleading and dance team camps, competitions, and apparel.
In her 16 years at Varsity Spirit, Lauchaire has been an energetic and strategic thinker with a passion for Varsity Spirit’s primary customers: cheerleaders and their coaches. She was instrumental in the company’s re-branding in 2007, a reflection of the energy, athleticism and leadership intrinsic to cheerleading.
In her current role, Lauchaire oversees marketing and branding for the entire organization, an ecosystem of over 25 cheer and dance brands. Lauchaire serves as a key leader in the strategy for the content development and monetization of Varsity TV, the online video destination for cheerleaders and dancers, featuring live streaming and original documentaries. She also directs the teams responsible for social media, public relations and Varsity Spirit’s partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Since 2010, Lauchaire has co-hosted the Varsity Spirit Cheerleading Championships on ESPN and CBS Sports Network. For the last 6 years, she has served on the board for “The Sparkle Effect,” a non-profit organization that helps students nationwide create school-based cheerleading and dance teams that bring together students with and without disabilities. A former cheerleader herself, Lauchaire began with the company as a summer camp instructor for the Universal Cheerleaders Association and rose through the ranks with the same fire and spirit she brought to the sidelines at Florida State University.
